1. Find the x- and y-components of all the vectors.

2. Find the x-component of resultant vector(R) by adding x-components of all the vectors.

3. Rx = Ax+ Bx+ Cx+ …;.

4. Find the y-component of resultant vector R by using the formula.

R = root(Rx)square + (Ry)square

To find the direction of the resultant vector R by applying the formula.

Tan = Ry/Rx

theta = tan-1 (Ry/Rx)
